‘Trade?’ corrected Reeti, as she thought I said it wrong.
‘No.. Travel.’ I answered with confidence.
‘I knew the maxim is- Jack of all trade, master of none?’ So easily Reeti loses her patience. Of course this is correct, doesn’t she know me? It has to be something else. I thought she is my sisterly best friend (though I will never dare to tell this on her face)!!
‘Who am I to deny you this!’ She is getting puzzled, she took few sips of that tongue melting evening Chai.

The excitement was way too high since morning, I was trying very hard to concentrate on my work, as i had to pull few clogged ends at work before giving a handover to my boss for next one week. Finally I am flying out of the country tonight, for some days and what’s so big deal!! This is me travelling with myself for next entire week.
On the way to the airport, all of a sudden I was getting nervous (I still haven’t understood the reason), and after clearing the immigration, all of a sudden, I was feeling so light and free without any tension. I was only looking forward.

Lotus lagoon & Pura @ Candidasa: a huge pond filled with lotus buds and huge round shaped lotus leafs in the mid of the village overlooking the blue sea. The big lemon green leafs floating on the transparent yet blue water is like a picture perfect scene.
Belanjong Temple, Sanur:
I had purposely kept one day to footslog around the town and decided to visit Pura Belanjong on foot. My apartment in Sanur was close to Parigata beach, from here it took me 25 minutes to reach Belanjong temple taking bypass road. Belanjong temple is rarely visited by tourists, a small tranquil temple, sitting here for sometimes feels really good. There is another attraction behind the temple, called Belanjong inscription. It’s a fat cement pillar, with some Sanskrit and old Balinese language carved on it. Though nothing is described at the entrance or anywhere on the temple, neither the locals are very clear of the story, the place is very quite nice anyway.

The northern part of Port Blair is blessed Virgin beaches in it’s all true definition. Diglipur, Rangat, Mayabunder are all together portray a different Andaman. Here are some list of best beaches in Rangat & Diglipur.
a. Ross and Smith Island in Andaman- this is for sure the main attraction here. From Aria bay you have to hire a speed boat (which will cost around 3000 per boat, the rate is revised every year). Around 15 minutes from aria bay to Ross island. you get 2 hours time to spend, for more you will be charged additionally on hourly basis. Ross and smith are 2 islands however the 2 islands are connected by a small sand line which is visible during low tide. The boatman will charge some extra money to take you to Smith island (rs 50-100 per person). However its worthy spending some hours there.
