My Simple All-time Spaghetti

I prefer my dinner options vegetarian, mostly. And there are nights (thankfully one or two per week) when I don’t feel like chewing the regular Roti and sabji, no matter how lucrative an option my mum wants to put across for a sabji or curry. Basically those are the nights I only and only want to have forkful of spaghetti pasta. Saying this, I have this easy peasy, a no-brainer recipe, which I have really mastered now and I’m never bored trying this.

If a bone idle like me is saying that it’s a hassle-free yet a cozy meal, you have to trust for once here.. sooo ready??

Easy Healthy Ramen

Till a year back I wasn’t a fan of ramen noodles at all, they were just an option as instant noodles with spicy taste-makers, for me that too very rarely. I hardly used to consider ramen noodles as part of my any meal or evening snack. So obviously they were never part of my resource or any sort of influence for my healthy food interest.. Until I went for this Cambodia trip!! Every city of Cambodia or may be every food joint in Cambodia, be it a restaurant or a street food shack has different understanding and presentation of noodles.

Healthy Sweet and Salty Cheese Cake

How amazing does it feel when your vision turns into fruition just the way you wanted?? I was really looking forward to this dessert to look just the way I was expecting. And you know what, there was hardly any hassle preparing this cheese cake!! Doesn’t that feel great? I really wanted to keep the salty component of the cheese cake, in my dessert, and I won’t hide the fact that I was little nervous with the possible result. But things did work and in a good way.. at least for Me..

I am saying this because My Mum just doesn’t want to agree to the fact that a dessert can taste little salty or tangy at times; for her a dessert can only taste Sweet otherwise how can that be a ‘dessert’! Like sugary sweet!! Is it with you as well? Or do you really think a blend of opposite tastes do work if chosen carefully?

Healthy Chicken Biryani

Biryani is my lustful repose, there was a time (which is long or very long back) when I used to have only and only biryani on Sundays. This is somewhere in the mid 90s, I was in primary school and online food app wasn’t in existence, & fine dining restaurants, well! whichever were there, they were out of reach for any middle-class family. But still, my father used to manage to get a box of biryani from a nearby and quite popular at that time, ‘Fast-Food’ joint.

Later, as my Biryani craving was growing like a whale, my mother took control and started preparing it in the house, in a lot simpler way of course. But that simpler biryani took over my life and my mum’s biryani is still the best for me.

Easy Mexican Rice

Call it Mexican or Spanish, I found this Tomato Rice recipe quite famous in both these countries. Now of-course there are different variations available to make this One Pot Rice. But as usually I always lean towards the easy and manageable-with-minimal -ingredients recipes. But before I tell you much about this recipe, let me tell you an interesting thing…

You see that chocolaty dollop of thing beside the rice? You know what it is? It’s a simpler version of sticky-honey chicken.. I know what you are thinking? There’s Mexican Rice at one side, and it’s being complemented with a Chinese dish? What’s wrong with me?
