The list is never ending, so are the combination of flavours, icing or frosting.. Then now a days there are shape, theme, grandeur in the name of expensive art being charged on this soft, moist loafs of flour, egg and butter.. But why am I talking about all these?? Nothing.. juts thought of starting today’s blog with some interesting verity!! If you like cakes.. you won’t mind with this introduction.. right? Lazy version of Hainanese Chicken

I never looked for Hainanese Chicken on the internet, all I was looking for was the recipe for Uncle Chin’s Chicken rice. Who is Uncle Chin?? Have you ever traveled on AirAsia? A colleague had said once, ‘do try the Chicken dishes of AirAsia, they are amazing!’. I didn’t go boarding the flight just to try their food, it was the most convenient option for me while I was travelling to Bali for the first time. My first choice of in-flight meal for the afternoon was Uncle Chin’s Chicken Rice. You know what?? I had fallen asleep and those super glamourous cabin crews didn’t even wake me up!! Thankfully God jabbed me on time, I got hold of them and politely with a pale puppy face asked for my pre-booked meal.

Healthy Besan Chilla recipe

I am quite fond of Veg snacks.. Chilla till date has been one of my favourite street-food menus to stay away from pushing my tummy uncontrollably out of it’s extra bulging zone. Which also means, I never thought of trying this one dish at home, thought my mum did inspire me to do so many times!! My mother and I would have loved to have Chilla from a specific place in my city while we would go out for shopping. Usually we used to have the Moong Dal Chilla but surely that requires lot of preparation and time to get a droolsome result.
