It’s been 2 months that I am back from my first ever solo trip, and I already have started losing my focus from my daily boring routine, I just want to run away to some where else. Factually whenever I am not travelling, which is the major portion of the 12 tired year, that non- travel period is a diabetic patience’s food for me.

The calculator and Bank statement has been generous till now and they showed their thumps up in the air. But the problem is ‘B’ factor. As B for Bank result is positive, for working people, there is another ‘B’ factor, which is lot bigger and fidgety than the previous one; it’s the ‘BOSS’ factor.

Seriously?? What more can this girl do? Are you thinking that!! Well who am I to give any input to it! I only know I always feel apprehensive to call myself an adventurer and one may interpret the reason with this post..

7 days has passed in the normal universally way without a slightest of difference in my life since the time I had decided to travel alone and my air-ticket to Bali is already booked. While I haven’t spoken of it to my parents at all, it’s been a conscious and implicit decision not to do so. There are quite a few reasons for being such reticent. To start with:

Kerala has always been a dearly destination for me, I had been there few years ago with my parents, and then I had very blur vision of roaming on the Streets of Kerala alone. Well making them true was never the plan, neither I dreamt off .. But if it has to happen, it will happen. Isn’t it?

Kerala was my second solo trip, now how i manage them, what is the reaction of my very friendly but otherwise strictly parents? That I will tell in my next post. So, being my second trip I wanted it to be better than the first and more attached with the local essence, may be I mean to say adventurous. I somehow feel very uneasy to call myself adventurous, not that anybody has told me that being adventurous is underrating!

‘Trade?’ corrected Reeti, as she thought I said it wrong.

‘No.. Travel.’ I answered with confidence.

‘I knew the maxim is- Jack of all trade, master of none?’ So easily Reeti loses her patience. Of course this is correct, doesn’t she know me? It has to be something else. I thought she is my sisterly best friend (though I will never dare to tell this on her face)!!

‘Who am I to deny you this!’ She is getting puzzled, she took few sips of that tongue melting evening Chai.
