T is Trouvaille in Tarvel…

P.S. BlogchatterA2Z

Pronounced as ‘Truvai’ (because it’s French!! And it’s customary not to utter the entire alphabets in terms until there is a vowel at the end of the word, then it’s extra hard-work!), and the meaning of this word as per Travel dictionary is ‘something lovely found by chance’. Are we having any English grammar class in between my ‘Travel obsession’ posts?!

Don’t worry, the theme is still the same and I am up to no teaching profession, just that I happen to find this amazing big word but only half of it pronounced and all of a sudden I had a feeling of being a very close eligible heir of Jane Austen, So thought of doing some vainglory! I know it’s all going in vain. So let’s just get back to T for Travel and T for Trouvaille, which is, Travel = Trouvaille (whoever wasn’t good in geometry in school, don’t try to understand this theory!!)

Solo-Travel- Fun or Foolhardy

‘How does it feel like? To Travel alone?’

‘Do you enjoy travelling alone?’

‘Don’t you feel scared at all? If anything happens?’

I often face these and something like these questions from whoever gets to know about my ‘how is it possible’ knack of travelling single. When I enjoy to face these raising brow questions, my answers are always simple. Ok, may be not always simple due to my pretzel like nature. You see.. human nature (at least in my case it is) is like Christmas tree, the structure is, ‘it’s this way only, can’t help much’, but you can decorate it as much as possible till the festivity is on!

It’s a Thursday and Saturday is still two weeks away, and ‘That’ Saturday is at distant land now, sleeping at a mushroom hut in Maleficent’s forest. And, here I am, staring at my laptop and office phone alternatively. Both are making every possible alarming effort to keep me busy and keep my mind focused to the real world to finish my allotted office work on time.

It’s been the scenario for last two months, since I have issued my tickets for holiday. 10 to 6 job all of a sudden has become a court’s heartless verdict, and even in the house I’m shadowing my ‘what’s it gonna be like’ thoughts from my mother’s scanning eyes. Remember it’s the first solo trip and Ma-Papa still haven’t heard the declaration yet!

‘Your love is like… Ummm.. how to say…’ squeezing her eyes shut, Reeti is desperately running through her vocabulary excel sheet (in her head, obviously!), and looking for an unerring adjective, while I patiently laid back on the couch opposite to her, looking at her ‘trying hard to concentrate’ face…

‘A bride’s mother in law..’ finally I break her minutes long search journey and help her to complete the sentence (Well, it’s only me who thought, was helping my bestie). It’s a Friday evening and I have come for a sleepover to Reeti’s house, tomorrow early in the morning we have a train to catch for our long weekend trip.
