My Solo Kerala Tour- Trip to Kerala aka #GodsOwnCountry on a Budget

The Southernmost state of India, #Kerala is dominance of Grue. Lambent of parti-colours have forgotten their boundaries here, reflection of blue and green have been brushed liberally all across the tarpaulin region. Kerala is not my first time visit, 4 years ago when I had been here, I had made up my mind for many revisits and this is the first of it.

Kerala is not about loud excursions, running with suitcase and camera at the same time, golloping some edible tummy fillers or sleep till the scientifically notified general quota (which is 8 hours) allows; rather #Kerala is all about, being Echidnas, stretching in slow motion, sleeping till late morning, curl up at the beach with a book and beer and keep a distance from foster chemicals, and puff up the tummy by slurping wholesome Southern savouries.

Jaipur Travel Guide on a Budget- @ Rajasthan Tour

The travel distance between Pushkar to Jaipur is about 3 hours by road. Jaipur, also named the Pink city, is the capital city of Rajasthan and the busiest city of this state. Even a must visit city for many first timers to Rajasthan, especially who come for the golden triangle trip (Delhi-Agra- Jaipur) to get a hint of Royal Indian culture. But let me be very clear that an only visit to Jaipur cannot be enough to get the flavour of this vivacious state in India. Jaipur can be a tiddly glimpse of the saga which can be to- some- extent the brief trailer and this I am saying after a long 10-12 days tour of the state (even this 12 days were very less to see the majors)

Travel guide to Pushkar on a Budget- @ Rajasthan Tour

After Ajmer Sharif, the journey to Pushkar takes another 1-1:30 hours. By the time we reached out hotel, it was half an hour left for A.M. to take to take over. For sure the entire days strenuous touring, needed for some comfort food and a soft and cleanly done cozy bed.

Pushkar is a small town in Rajasthan, very famous for its 1 week long yearly camel fair. A huge sand clad fair ground gets alive during the fair season, otherwise that same place looks like a deserted stadium for rest of the year. Now-a-days camel ride or camel cart rides are widely available here as well just like Jaisalmer, only I doubt about the evening dance show. Apart from this, the prior attraction is Lake Pushkar after which the town has been named.

Stopping at Chittorgarh And Ajmer Sharif en route to Pushkar- My Budget Travel Plan to Rajasthan

On the way to Pushkar from Udaipur, there are two places to stop by, and both are quite a distance away from each other. So in order to cover both in one day, you have to start earlier than usual in the morning, 7 am will be a good choice. Undeniably it’s going to be a by default tiring day , but it’s no loss.

Once started the engine, the first stop would be Chittorgarh, which is about 2 hours distance from Udaipur, unless you are taking a small break for the first major meal of the day which is also quite important.
