Fort Kochi Attraction- My Solo Kerala Travel Guide on a Budget – #GodsOwnCountry

One of the widely visited cities in Kerala, separated by water-ways from the main city Kochi, Fort Kochi still has the 19th century European look intact in every corner of it (only seeing men wearing the mundus will bring one back to India); Fort Kochi is historically well preserved and upgraded to tourist friendliness and vibrantly painted on the white lucent alleys. And the very best way to explore the town is by foot. Get onto light clothes and comfy sneakers or slippers to explore the place by walking and the rainbow town will amaze you.

Biennale Art Exhibition- Fort Kochi, Kerala Travel- 2019

I didn’t have any idea of what Biennale meant or was or could be, till I went to Fort Kochi and a heart full of gratitude to my host, who mentioned the word ‘Biennale’ to me. Biennale is an International Art Exhibition held worldwide at different times and on an alternative year basis. Artists across the world can take part in it, and whats more.. tourists, aesthetes across the globe travel to attend such events. (And I just didn’t have a clue about it!!) Every possible existing form of art is showcased on this 4 months long event. This biennial event is silently herculean, apart from its actual showcase forum, i.e. the Aspinwall House there are 12 other venues where artists can project their creativity.

My Solo Kerala Tour- Trip to Kerala aka #GodsOwnCountry on a Budget

The Southernmost state of India, #Kerala is dominance of Grue. Lambent of parti-colours have forgotten their boundaries here, reflection of blue and green have been brushed liberally all across the tarpaulin region. Kerala is not my first time visit, 4 years ago when I had been here, I had made up my mind for many revisits and this is the first of it.

Kerala is not about loud excursions, running with suitcase and camera at the same time, golloping some edible tummy fillers or sleep till the scientifically notified general quota (which is 8 hours) allows; rather #Kerala is all about, being Echidnas, stretching in slow motion, sleeping till late morning, curl up at the beach with a book and beer and keep a distance from foster chemicals, and puff up the tummy by slurping wholesome Southern savouries.
