Travelling to East of Bali – Solo travel to #Candidasa, #Bali.. #Indonesia Travel on a Budget

After my stay in #Sanur, I decided to head towards east of #Bali, my next destination was #Candidasa, which is a small village in Amlapura District. The travel distance between #Sanur and #Candidasa is 1.5 hours by road, and the earlier you start is better to avoid traffic. There are 2 options to reach #Candidasa, one is by private taxi/ car which may cost appx 400K IDR for a car; for 3-4 people travelling together, taking private car is a good deal, but for solo traveller like me can book Perama shuttle which costs 75K IDR per person and these are daily transfer, hence quite cost effective and the drivers are good and professional. Also a backpacker can also hire a bike/ scooter (which may cost 70K IDR per day).

Sun, sand, sea and an island enriched with their traditional and cultural values, it has to be #Bali. A small island which can be driven across in one day (provided no stop in between, except at a petrol pump!!); can actually be an ideal destination for a long, laid-back vacation. Though talking of #Bali, many people think of only nightlife, party, and flock of people everywhere… however someone like me, who stays miles away from these high spirited activities, can give you a different picture of #Bali altogether which is pacifying if i may say!

I felt so different, as if I had lost my self somewhere, i didn’t expect anything, yet it was astonishing, I simply lost my heart to this treasured island.

This is “That” part of Andaman which I was aching to share with you. #Diglipur. At the further north of #Andaman, where you get the most breath taking photogenic sights and beaches.

A 2 nights stay in #Diglipur is well enough, there are couple of good (good as in simple yet good enough, not high end) hotel options stay. But you have to well arrange everything (hotel and car) before setting off for the journey here, specially if it’s a weekend.

Once Port Blair has frolicked its charisma quite satisfactorily on you, keep that reverie in motion, because the islands are still left to spellbound you.

Travelling to Havelock Island from Port Blair:

Next stop will be #Havelock island. a good 1-2 nights is good here for stay, your daily cost can be a little more than main island here, but for small stay that can be taken care of i guess. A lot of hotels/ a government resort (Dolphin resort is available- the resort is by the beach). Also some budget property, more of bed and breakfast can be found. Coconut crave is one example.
