Another small eccentric town by the river further south of Battambang. My next stop after Battambang was Koh Kong, and it was quite a journey, Not a troublesome though, it was actually a long journey to keep it simple.

Reminiscing those Andaman Holidays
I don’t know how many posts have I dedicated to these flecks of greens and browns, positioned so firm over the constantly undulating Bay of Bengal for centuries now. No I don’t live in this island though I dream for it every day, night and evening; but every time I have visited this place, it has always been so fresh and so new than the last time. I can never have enough of this place; Andaman has always been the insufficient thirst for me which I never want to get over with.

If you are planning a trip to Tamilnadu, plan well ahead, because a long stay in this state in India will not disappoint you a bit. This is in particular to people who are living out of India, otherwise for Indians who can’t plan a long trip, you can come back for few times here. Pondicherry, Tanjore, Madurai, Trichy, Mahabalipuram, Kanchupiram there’s quite a few places to see and all of them are hysterically rich in culture and history; even Chennai the city itself, needs at least 2 to 3 nights, to stay and definitely to shop (even if I keep the later as second priority or no priority at all).

Chennai is one of the four metro cities of India and it’s a Big Beaming city. My first visit to Chennai was about 6 years ago with my parents, it was actually a 2 nights extended trip over our two weeks long Kerala holiday. To tell you the truth, this extended trip was planned because my mum wanted to buy an ‘authentic’ kanjivaram saree and what best place could we vouch for apart from Chennai. So (Ladies especially for you) Tamilnadu is famous for it’s sarees, especially The Kanjivaram Sarees. So, this tour was planned only and only for generous shopping.

The City of Brussels is simply blissful. Though my stay in the city was only for few hours (I know it’s an injustice to my travel plan!!), the feeling was cheerful as the city is so high on spirit. Belgium, as a country looks like size ‘0’ on the entire Europe map but Hey.. Don’t underestimate by choosing your stay short here. There are lots to see and plenty to enjoy in this country. This time it’s only Brussels that I could manage, but as I said the city doesn’t disappoint. Start right after your breakfast; glowing in the soft sunlight to stretching in the lazy late afternoon, it’s an exuberant city which will keep you engaged.
