Another small eccentric town by the river further south of Battambang. My next stop after Battambang was Koh Kong, and it was quite a journey, Not a troublesome though, it was actually a long journey to keep it simple.

My #SoloTrip to #Cambodia: #Sightseeing around #Battambang- Countryside Battambang , Killing Field And Bat Cave
A drive across the countryside #Battambang gets onto you. Crossing the oozing green farm fields over a tuk-tuk ride, stopping by a small village bistro, and trying freshly grilled Tacos with tangy salad; getting tanned in the summery weather is so pleasing!!
After the Bamboo ride, the next stop was Killing cave, however, there were few stops in between.

Battambang province is quite big and has few interesting things to see. So a tour across the province was very necessary. And the best way to see Battambang is on an airy tuk tuk. Every tuk tuk driver can take you for the below sightseeing, but do look for someone who has some knowledge, as the tour gets interesting when you get to know the history of the country or the stories which are passed on by generation to the their next. And at first, I had to know why this province is called Battambang.

#Battambang is a small city, in the North West of Cambodia. A simple and quiet city situated by the river Sangkae. When it’s simple, the city is not yet very touristy, and for which you get a glimpse of a real Cambodian city. A long walk across the city has been interesting. You don’t get to see restaurants lined across the streets, they are quite scattered across the city, but locals love to sit at a restaurant and talk a lot over good food.

The city of Siem Reap is situated by the river Tonle Sap, and the villages start just a few kilometers away from the main city. And I not only opted for a countryside tour, I wanted to see a floating village and also wanted to know, how an entire village could float in formation!!
